Most couples come in feeling stuck. You have the same argument on repeat, growing quietly distant, or carrying the weight of something that happened and was never fully repaired. You love each other, you just cannot seem to find your way back.
What I have learned from years of sitting with couples is that the problem is almost never what it looks like on the surface. Underneath the conflict and the distance is almost always a pattern, a cycle both partners get pulled into faster than either can catch, driven by fears and longings that have never quite been voiced or known.
My job is to help you see that pattern clearly, understand where it comes from, and begin to do something different. Not through worksheets but through a genuine understanding of each other at the level where lasting change actually happens.
Whether you are navigating a hard season, preparing for what comes next, or simply ready to invest in what you are building, you are in the right place.
There is nothing like the moment two people begin to genuinely understand each other, it is what drew me to couples work and what keeps me here.
I am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy, widely considered the gold standard in couples therapy, and I bring that framework into every session. EFT is not a set of techniques, it is a way of understanding what is actually happening between two people and why. It gets underneath the surface to where real and lasting change becomes possible.
As a mom, a wife, and a therapist who has done this work herself, I bring both clinical expertise and genuine personal understanding to the couples I work with. I know this work is not always easy. I also know what becomes possible when you do it.
I am active, genuine, and fully present. I will challenge you, warmly and with care, because I believe you are capable of more.
I welcome and have experience working with non-traditional relationships and those in the queer community. I am a sex-positive, LGBTQIA+ affirmative therapist.
